In 2022, a new Spanish branch was created in Tooele County, and Benjamin Burge was called to serve as the second counselor to Bishop Oviedo. For the first time, Ben experienced the complexities of managing a ward firsthand. From tracking callings to handling administrative tasks, it quickly became clear just how much there is to juggle at the ward level.

As Ben’s understanding deepened, he discovered even greater challenges at the stake level. One question kept nagging at him: Where are the tools to make this work easier? Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR) fell short in many critical areas.

Guided by his desire in serving the Lord and His Church, Ben was inspired to create a solution. That’s when Wardzen was born—a powerful suite of tools designed specifically for stake and ward leaders. Wardzen streamlines processes, enhances efficiency, and brings greater transparency to church administration, allowing leaders to focus on what truly matters: serving others and building the Lord’s kingdom.

At Wardzen, our mission is to make church leadership a little less admin and a lot more inspiration. We provide church leaders with a seamless, intuitive solution that simplifies church management. With tools for calling change management, prayer roll tracking, priesthood ordination tracking, and yearly planning, we help leaders spend less time on paperwork and more time on what really matters.

As of 2025, Wardzen is in active development and collaborating with a pioneer stake to refine its features. We’re excited to expand our pilot program to more stakes as our tools become polished and ready for broader use.
