Your announcements, one link anyone can open
Mark the announcements you want public, pick a look, and share one link or a QR code for the foyer wall. Nobody signs in, and nothing appears that a leader didn't choose.
Beta: it's new, and we're refining the screens and wording with the first wards that use it. What you publish is real and public.
Sound familiar?
“It was announced once, and half the ward missed it.”
Put it on the board and anyone can read it again on their phone, whenever they want.
“Where do I find this month's announcements?”
The board has one address that stays the same. Leaders update the announcements in Wardzen, and the board follows within a minute.
“The flyer on the foyer wall is out of date.”
Print the QR code once. The page behind it stays current, so the printed code never has to be replaced.
Five looks, one board
Pick a theme and it applies at once. The words and their order stay yours; only the look changes. Every theme reads well on a phone and on a computer.
Simple Light
Clean white with a blue accent. The plain, high-contrast default.
Simple Dark
Near-black panels with amber accents.
Sticky Notes
Tilted pastel notes on cream.
Bulletin Board
Cork with pinned notes.
Elegant
Ivory, serif type and a gold frame.

From the announcement form to the foyer wall
Everything is in Settings and on the announcement form. Changes save as you make them.
1. Turn the board on
In Settings, choose Bulletin board. Before it goes live, Wardzen lists exactly what will become public: the ward's name and, if it is linked to its stake, the stake's name, your short message, and how many announcements are marked.
2. Mark what you want public
Each announcement has a checkbox, “Show on the public bulletin board,” unchecked by default. Only marked announcements appear, and only for the dates you set. A reminder asks you to keep phone numbers, addresses and anything about children out of the text, and a warning appears if a note looks like a phone number or an email address.
3. Choose a look and a language
Pick one of the five themes, English or Español for the board's own words, and the order of the sections. Visitors can switch language at the bottom of the board. What leaders write is shown exactly as written, never translated.
4. Share the link or print the QR code
Preview the board first, then copy its link or download the QR code, as an SVG for printing or a PNG for slides and emails. A change shows on the public board within a minute.
Public only by choice
The board is read-only and shows only what a leader put there.
Only what you mark
It shows the ward's name, a short welcome message and the announcements a leader marked. An announcement that isn't marked never appears.
No sign-in, no tracking
Visitors open the link and read. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no scripts on the page.
Hidden from search engines
The page asks search engines not to list it, and its address includes a random code, so people find it only through the link or the QR code.
Take it down any time
Switch the board off in one tap and it comes down within about a minute. Unmark an announcement and it leaves the board the same way. Your settings are kept if you switch it back on.
Prints on its own
Print from the browser for a plain black-on-white page, whichever theme the board uses.
A new link when you need one
If a link has gone further than you meant, get a new one. The old link and every printed QR code stop working, so print the new code to replace them.
Who runs it, and which plans include it
The board belongs to the unit, and its leaders decide everything about it.
The bishopric and clerks
The bishop, the counselors and the ward clerk switch the board on, choose its theme, write its message and get its links. Leaders who can write announcements, executive secretaries included, can mark them for the board.
A stake has one too
The stake presidency and the stake and assistant stake clerks run the stake's own board, with the same sections. A stake's board never lists or links to its wards' boards, and a ward's never links to its stake's.
Part of Ward Plus and Stake Plus
A ward on Ward Plus, a ward linked to a stake on Stake Plus, and a stake on Stake Plus can publish a board, and so can a new unit during its 30-day trial. If a plan ends, the board goes offline and comes back at the same address when the plan is renewed. Everything you set up is kept.
Frequently asked questions
Who can see the board?
Anyone who has the link or scans the QR code. There is no sign-in, and search engines are asked not to list the page. The address includes a random code, so it can't be guessed from the ward's name.
What does it show today?
The ward's name and, if it is linked to its stake, the stake's name, a short welcome message of up to 280 characters, and the announcements a leader marked. That is all it shows. It does not show meeting times, the sacrament meeting program or a calendar.
What should we keep off it?
Anything you wouldn't put on the foyer door. Keep phone numbers, addresses, health or personal circumstances, and anything about children out of the text. Wardzen shows a reminder and warns you when text looks like a phone number or an email address, but it can't know what is sensitive in your ward.
Do members need an account?
No. Wardzen is for leadership and has no member accounts. Members open the link or scan the QR code, and that's all.
Can we change the link?
Yes. A leader can get a new link at any time. The old link and every printed QR code then stop working, so print the new code to replace them. If you only want people to stop seeing the board, switch it off instead; the link and the QR code stay the same and work again when you switch it back on.
Does it cost extra?
No. It is part of Ward Plus and Stake Plus, and the 30-day trial of either includes it. A unit on the Free plan can't publish a board.
What does Beta mean here?
The board is new. It works, and what you publish is real and public, but we're still refining the screens and wording with the first wards that use it. Tell us what's missing.
Give your announcements one address
The public bulletin board is part of Ward Plus and Stake Plus, and a new ward or stake gets a 30-day trial with no card.
